Our investment thesis is simple: Justice will prevail.
Suing Big Oil for Fun & Profit
Own a Lawsuit. Stick it to Climate Criminals. Invest in Justice.
(This is art, not investing. Don’t tell the SEC.)
Frontline communities rarely see justice. Why? Because lawsuits cost millions, drag on for years, and Big Oil hires every decent lawyer in sight—leaving no one to fight for the people they’ve harmed. Their legal war chest is backed by insurance giants and global finance, all aligned to crush communities, sovereign nations, and anyone else in their way.
Hellfire Holdings is a (fictional) investment fund that bankrolls lawsuits brought by frontline communities around the world—cases demanding compensation for the disasters Big Oil inflicts. If these suits win, investors see a return and help tilt the balance—ever so slightly—against a grotesquely unequal system.
This isn’t philanthropy. It’s not “impact investing.”
It’s a direct investment in accountability.
Hellfire Holdings doesn’t exist but it should. We invite you to share in the delusion. If Hellfire Holdings existed to help frontline communities fight Big Oil, how much would you pledge to take a shot at justice, slow the harm, and stand on the right side of history?
